The World Class School Award Scheme
The HPL World Class School Award Scheme recognises the very best schools in the world and is designed for schools at the forefront of educational thinking. It sets out new and very demanding standards and demonstrates how schools can scale new heights when they fully realise the HPL philosophy.
The World Class School Award is a two year supported change and professional development scheme. It is school-led, with structure, tools and coaching from an HPL Associate. In the course of the scheme, schools must meet four standards covering:
The culture of the school
Outcomes for learners
There is an intensive face to face induction programme for key staff, followed by regular scheduled coaching sessions with an HPL Associate who knows and understands your school and context. At the end of the two years, there is an accreditation process with successful schools awarded World Class School status.
Schools achieving this prestigious award transform the way they function. They will have changed attitudes and practices amongst staff, students and parents and see that translated into better results and outcomes for their students.
