HPL schools swept up at the International School Awards 2019 on Monday 21 January with all 3 shortlisted schools winning their categories and British School Muscat picking up an additional award for International School of the Year. GEMS Jumeirah Primary School, British School in Tokyo and British School Muscat triumphed against stiff competition as shortlisted entries were selected from over 200 high quality nominations.
The International School Awards, formerly the British International School Awards, celebrate learning, teaching, community, pastoral care, leadership and strategic initiatives at international schools. They provide the opportunity for international schools to share best practice, creative endeavours, community participation and innovation. The awards are hosted by International School Leader Magazine with the support of ISC Research.

International Impact – British School in Tokyo
Strategic Leadership Initiative - British School Muscat
International School of the Year – British School Muscat
British School Muscat has had an amazing start to 2019 having already won British School of the Year in the Independent School Parent Awards, and been shortlisted for the TES Independent School Awards along with Reigate Grammar and HPL World Class School Doha College. British School Muscat is in its second year of the HPL World Class School Award Scheme, heading for accreditation in Summer 2019.
